Bandung, Indonesia, 2 August 2026 – The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) officially welcomed a delegation from PERMATA Division, Malaysia for the Regional Training on Child Rights-Based Early Childhood Education through the Our Happy Neighbourhood (OHN) Module, held from 2–7 August 2026 in Bandung, Indonesia.

Bandung, 20 July 2026 – The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), in collaboration with the National Holistic-Integrative Early Childhood Development (PAUD HI) Coalition, the Directorate of Early Childhood Education, the Directorate of Kindergarten Teachers and Special Education (GTK PK) under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of Indonesia, and with the support of the Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC), officially launched the Workshop on Developing the Climate Change Training Module Framework for Early Childhood Educators in Bandung.
Chonburi, Thailand, 15 July 2026 – Following the conclusion of the SEAMEO Centre Directors Meeting (CDM) 2026, held on 14–15 July 2026 in Chonburi, Thailand, the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) signed Cooperation Agreements (CAs) with SEAMEO INNOTECH and SEAMEO STEM-ED to strengthen regional collaboration in advancing research, innovation, and capacity building in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).
Singapore, 12 July 2026 – Prof. Vina Adriany, Director of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), served as a keynote speaker at the PECERA (Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association) Annual Conference 2026, held from 10–12 July 2026 in Singapore. The conference brought together researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss current issues and innovations in early childhood education and care
Magelang, 10 July 2026 – In support of improving the quality of social services for children, Widodo Suhartoyo, Deputy Director for Program of SEAMEO CECCEP, served as a resource person at the Capacity Development Program for Child Welfare Institutions (Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak/LKSA) in Child Social Services, organized by the Directorate of Child Social Rehabilitation from 8–10 July 2026 at LKSA Darul Khikmah Putra Borobudur, Magelang Regency, Central Java.

Jakarta, 29 June 2026 – The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care, Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) participated in the Co-Creation Workshop on the Early Childhood School Leadership Program, organized by Global School Leaders (GSL) in collaboration with Tanoto Foundation and supported by Ishk Tolaram Foundation, Nomura Foundation, and Quantedge Advancement Initiative. The workshop took place at the Impact Gallery, Tanoto Foundation, Jakarta, and brought together key stakeholders to collaboratively develop a school leadership program aligned with national and local priorities for early childhood education.
Greater Jakarta, Indonesia, 23 June 2026 – The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Secretariat officially organized the Sustainable Trade & Economic Development Summit under the theme “Sustainable Growth, Shared Prosperity” as the Policy Summit of the 5th Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC) 2026, held from 22–25 June 2026 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Greater Jakarta.
Putrajaya, Malaysia, 21–27 June 2026 – The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care, Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) participated in the Regional Training on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) Resources for Teachers of Learners with Disabilities, organized by the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Special Educational Needs (SEAMEO SEN) in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The Centre was represented by Assila Prianggi, Head of Research and Development at SEAMEO CECCEP, and Tiara Delia Madyani, Capacity Building Officer at SEAMEO CECCEP, who joined educators, researchers, policymakers, and inclusive education practitioners from across Southeast Asia to strengthen regional capacity in delivering inclusive, rights-based sexuality education.
