The GEMBIRA (Gerakan Membimbing Anak Bersiap Ke Sekolah) module is a family education initiative that aims to guide parents in preparing their children for the transition from early childhood education to elementary school. Through a series of modules consisting of pocket books and facilitator guidebooks, this program provides comprehensive guidance on creating an environment that supports children's growth and development based on the principles of participatory and positive communication between teachers and parents.
Module 1: Mengenal Anak, Mengenal Diri, dan Bertumbuh Bersama
Understanding
Children, Understanding Yourself, and Growing Together. The first
module or series 1 focuses on the importance of parents understanding
their children and themselves. Through the facilitator's guidebook and
series 1 pocketbook, parents are encouraged to create a safe,
comfortable, and healthy environment that supports their children's
growth and development and strengthens the parent-child relationship.
With this understanding, parents are expected to be able to help their
children develop well in various aspects.
Module 2: Kesiapan Sekolah
School Readiness. This second module provides an understanding of the concept of children's transition from early childhood education to elementary school as an effort to help children prepare for school. The facilitator's guidebook and pocketbook series 2 help parents understand school readiness from birth and how to accompany their children in facing challenges that may arise during the transition process. Parents are expected to be able to foster their children's readiness gradually and optimally.
Module 3: Prinsip-prinsip Stimulasi
Principles
of Stimulation. This third module educates parents on effective
stimulation principles to support child development. The third series of
guidebooks and pocketbooks covers stimulation of six foundational
skills, stimulation appropriate to the child's developmental stage, and a
play-based approach as the primary method. In addition, this module
also introduces culturally sensitive and anti-bias stimulation, and
integrates education and parenting into child stimulation.
Module 4 Stimulasi Kemampuan Fondasi
Stimulating Foundational Skills. This module explains how to understand parents' anxiety during transition by providing guidance on how to overcome their feelings of anxiety through appropriate stimulation to develop their children's basic skills, which will become the foundation for their future development.
Module 5 Melangkah gembira dengan Gerakan transisi PAUD ke SD
Moving forward with the Preschool to Elementary School transition movement. This Module focuses on explaining why the transition movement from preschool to’elementary School is important from the perspective of existing policies and regulations. The module 5 handbook and pocket book provide an understanding of how to support children in facing these changes with the support of this transition policy.
Module 6 Menjalin Komunikasi dan Kemitraan antara guru dan orangtua
Establishing Communication and Partnership between Teachers and Parents. The sixth module is the final module, emphasizing the importance of positive and participatory communication between parents and teachers. The facilitator's guidebook and pocketbook provide information on how to build a strong partnership between parents and teachers so that this collaboration can help children better face educational challenges.
